Your curls have their own rules, and Alcôve Curl Shampoo plays by them. Designed for every curl type, from loose waves to bouncy curls to tight coils, it cleanses the scalp while keeping hair moisturized, light, and full of movement.

  • Gentle cleansing: It removes buildup without stripping curls or leaving residue behind.
  • Balanced moisture: Sunflower oil helps prevent moisture loss, so curls stay soft and bouncy.
  • Definition: Curl-respecting ingredients help reveal natural texture and reduce frizz.
  • Styling prep: It leaves hair clean and ready for your curl creams and stylers.

It has a jasmine and sandalwood scent. The formula is gentle and colour-safe.

  1. Apply to wet hair.
  2. Gently massage into the scalp to emulsify and build a lather.
  3. Massage the roots for 1 to 2 minutes to lift away buildup, then rinse thoroughly.
  4. Repeat if needed.
  5. Follow with Alcôve Curl Conditioner to detangle and boost softness.
  6. For best results: On damp hair, finish with Alcôve Curl Activator to define each curl. Air-dry for a soft, natural finish, or diffuse on medium heat for more hold and volume.

All wavy, curly, and coily hair types, including colour-treated hair. It’s ideal for curls that need gentle cleansing, lasting moisture, and less frizz.

When you book a hair service, you always have the option of adding a hair mask, which is always targeted to your specific hair goals / hair type. We also offer scalp detox treatments in order to help combat product build-up and other minor scalp issues.

Our specialists have over 10 years of experience in haircare and they hand-pick the most effective products on the market, doing the research so you do not have to.

Shipping

We ship from our flagship location in Toronto.

We do not currently offer worldwide shipping.

Orders are generally shipped within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) using Canada Post.

Canada Post's delivery standard is 2 – 5 business days.

TMPT(D) offers FREE shipping within Canada on ALL orders over $ 89. Flat rate shipping fee of $15 applies to orders under $ 89.

We also offer local delivery within the city of Toronto for a flat rate of $10, delivery time 1-2 business days.

Returns and exchanges will be accepted if you contact us within 7 days of receiving the delivery. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please email us with your name, order number and reason for return. We will provide you with details on how to return your item. Exchanges may be for product or store credit. The cost of shipping is non-refundable.

Refunds will be issued once the product has been received in good condition.

All of our manicure tools are disinfected in a UV machine after every client and all of our haircare and hairstyling tools are also disinfected after every client.
