Healthy-looking hair starts with a healthy scalp. Surface Awaken Scalp Detox is a gentle yet effective exfoliating treatment from Surface’s Awaken line. It removes product buildup, excess oil, and everyday impurities, leaving the scalp feeling clean, refreshed, and energized, never stripped.

Detox: Activated charcoal and hydrated silica gently exfoliate and lift away buildup and impurities.
Refresh: Peppermint, mint, menthol, and capsicum deliver an invigorating, cooling tingle.
Purify: Tea tree oil helps keep the scalp clean and fresh.
Nourish: Babassu, moringa, and flaxseed oils, plus biotin, ceramide NP, aloe, and vitamins C and E, condition the scalp and hair.
Prep for treatment: A clean scalp helps your Awaken treatments and styling products work their best.

It’s vegan, colour-safe, cruelty-free, and free from sulfates, parabens, and gluten. Use it with the Awaken Therapeutic Shampoo, Conditioner, and Treatment for the full scalp-care routine.

Shampoo with your favourite Surface shampoo, then rinse.
Apply a generous amount of Awaken Scalp Detox directly to the scalp.
Massage in with your fingertips for 1 minute.
Rinse thoroughly.
Condition and style as usual.
Use as often as you like. Once or twice a week works well for most people.

The mint and capsicum give a tingling sensation, which is normal. Avoid contact with eyes, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

When you book a hair service, you always have the option of adding a hair mask, which is always targeted to your specific hair goals / hair type. We also offer scalp detox treatments in order to help combat product build-up and other minor scalp issues.

Our specialists have over 10 years of experience in haircare and they hand-pick the most effective products on the market, doing the research so you do not have to.

Shipping

We ship from our flagship location in Toronto.

We do not currently offer worldwide shipping.

Message us ASAP if you need to make changes to your order and we will do our best to accomodate.

Orders are generally shipped within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) using Canada Post.

Canada Post's delivery standard is 2 – 5 business days.

TMPT(D) offers FREE shipping within Canada on ALL orders over $ 89. Flat rate shipping fee of $15 applies to orders under $ 89.

We also offer local delivery within the city of Toronto for a flat rate of $10, delivery time 1-2 business days.

Returns and exchanges will be accepted if you contact us within 7 days of receiving the delivery. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please email us with your name, order number and reason for return. We will provide you with details on how to return your item. Exchanges may be for product or store credit. The cost of shipping is non-refundable.

Refunds will be issued once the product has been received in good condition.

All of our manicure tools are disinfected in a UV machine after every client and all of our haircare and hairstyling tools are also disinfected after every client.
